Community caterers - the local community
re-plenish works with a range of local community projects which provide food to local vulnerable people ranging from the elderly to the homeless, to disadvantaged families to people with mental health problems. Most of the projects we currently distribute food to are members of the Community Caterers Network in Oxford.
The Community Caterers Network (CCN) is an informal network formed from community groups, organisations and individuals that have an interest in healthy, affordable and accessible food. They are people who are working with disadvantaged or low income families and individuals. The CCN is all about promoting relationships and partnership working between the groups, good practice and about sharing the great experience the CCN has as a whole.
